The object of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is to prolong the life of the building fabric and components, and avoid operational disruption by minimizing potential issues by the most economical means possible.

It is crucial to have such a programme in place to carry out all routine maintenance and repairs.

Where this hasn’t happened the building is liable to an extensive array of problems which can lead to a break down in its integrity and a rise in issues for its occupants.

At Solid Bond Solutions we can remedy this as soon as practicably possible. As experts in this field we can advise and guide you through the various stages recommending the most cost-effective methods and frequencies necessary as well as carry out any emergency and reactive repairs that can not be planned for.

We are able to deal with all elements including roof works, masonry (brick or stone), glazing, cladding, guttering, metal works, hard landscaping and external decoration.

For reactive works we aim to be with you on the same day as you call us if possible, within 24 hours.

We consider most emergency calls to be urgent and treat these accordingly.

As a natural progression from PFM and reactive works we also undertake refurbishment, refresh and restoration works and have many years’ experience in heritage works between us.

We are able to bring together or integrate into a team of construction professionals to deliver a broad range of projects from fit out of areas existing and in use, to breathing new life into redundant or out of use spaces.

From survey to delivery, we will plan and manage small refurbishment and fit out projects from new build to difficult refurbishments in live environments, to deliver the works safely and in a timely and cost effective manner. Taking into account the clients day to day business requirements and customer needs which we regard as a critical part of the delivery.
Site supervision is an essential part of all works that we undertake be it a small reactive job or a longer refurbishment or fit out project.

Because we take our safe working needs seriously we dedicate an SMSTS trained supervisor to all contracts and works to manage and implement our safe systems of working.

We carry out extensive survey work for our clients ranging from general defects to full maintenance and lifecycle surveys. Each survey is conducted on the actual site although when requested a desk top survey can be carried out initially.

Following on from this a full report is issued with images, documentation and recommendations relating to our findings from which a full schedule of costs can be drafted for all works arising from it.
